(I apologize if this has been mentioned previously and I didn't see it.)
Regardless of what our final W/L record turns out to be, This is the first time in a L-O-N-G time that I can look at our remaining games and know for certain that we have the talent level and the coaching to have a very reasonable shot at winning each game. Now, some of the games (LSU being one, of course) might require an incredible effort but this team has proven they're equal to the task. I'm excited about the possibilities.
One thing's for sure: The days of another SEC school automatically penciling in Kentucky as a "W" are over.
I just felt like that needed to be said.

I agree. However, to look at it another way, there are hardly any teams that we might not find a way to lose to, also. Mississippi State and Vandy appear to be the weakest, but they are 3-2, and 3-1, respectively. UT, UG, UF, LSU, SC should all be brutal SEC contests.
I am just going to enjoy each victory, and accept a loss if/when it occurs. This has been a fantastic season already, I won't be upset if we stumble a time or two along the way. But overconfidence can be a team's worst nightmare. I hope we don't get it anytime soon.

It's strange to be considered a favorite but I sure am happy that our Cats are up there.

It will be interesting to see the tables turned and see how these other teams (South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee) are mentally going into a game with a Kentucky team that is ranked higher than they are. Over the years we've seen too many times that this can be a huge factor in a team's confidence and in how games turn out. Let's see the tables turned.

The Ark game our 4th String tailback seals the deal. What does that say about our depth. I honestly believe that we can win out and play for the National Championship!!!!! MCfadden sez "Man those guys Hit"!! We are developing rep as head hunting D. Combine that with the best offense in the nation....YOU GOTTA BELIEVE!!!!!

McFadden saw us playing a second half defense with a killer mentality. To beat some of the aforementioned teams, we will need that for four quarters. As of yet, we have not done that with conviction. While I am not trying to be a pessimist, we still have to prove to ourselves that the entire game is ours, the kind of mentality that we need for LSU, maybe UF and SC too. But you do have to like that they turn it up a notch in the fourth quarter, something not done in recent past!

we were talking about that the other day. We have yet to play an "A" game. and we have only blized a few times, and haven't ran any trick plays. I don't think UK has played up to what they are capable of. I think both the D and O can put up better numbers then what they have been, but we haven't needed it to win.

I actually think we saw that mentality on defense for the UT game last year. Interestingly, we obviously lost that game, but we still played with great passion for four quarters on that side of the ball.
It will be great to see the guys get amped up for all of the SEC contests...

I didnt think I could get any happier with this team after the Louisville win, but after every game my expectations and happiness hit another level. I honestly think we could be in SEC championship game. So far this team does not beat theselves with stupid plays and bad turnovers (sorry Andre' streak came to an end but what an achievement.) They do however take advantage of other teams mistakes. We have got to have one of the greatest ensemble of senior leaders any team has ever had. They do one heck of a job getting the underclassmen to play above their potential. Mix in a great coaching staff and you have a team that can win every time they take the field. GO CATS!!!:thumbup:

I agree that this is one of the hardest-hitting defensive teams I have seen at UK. On the other hand, until we can break the top 100 in run defense, it is kind of hard to see us winning out and playing for the national championship.
