The yearbook, full color front to back for the first time in The Cats' Pause's 30-plus year history, features numerous articles of interest for UK fans:
• Meet Billy Clyde, a profile of Kentucky's new basketball coach by Matt May.

• Through Thick & Thin. UK seniors Ramel Bradley and Joe Crawford talk with Matt May about their careers and what might lie ahead in 2008.
• Is 8 Fate? Enjoy the ride as former players relive the magic of Kentucky's four NCAA basketball championships won in years ending in 8 - 1948, 1958, 1978 and 1998 - as told by Tim Wiseman and Travis Hubbard.
• Q&A with new UK coach Billy Gillispie.
• In-depth features on all Kentucky basketball players.
• Opponent and SEC previews
• Profile and Q&A with new UK women's coach Matthew Mitchell, and the return to the hardwood by Eleia Roddy. By Travis Hubbard.
• State college previews
• Region by region preview for boys and girls high school basketball in the Commonwealth.
• Recruiting, including Jeff Drummond's feature on how Billy Gillispie is changing the national recruiting landscape.

Yes, they sure are. I just finished reading a few articles in mine. Picked it up at Barnes & Noble earlier today.

Looks like he's stuck with name of Billy Clyde, whether he likes it or not.

I was kind of wondering why they put that on the cover. I had heard he didn't really like being called "Clyde". Sometimes I really wonder about Darrel Bird.

Same here. There was an article that said something to the effect of Bill Self was the only person that he didn't mind calling him that :icon_redface:

I got my copy of the Yearbook today. It was hard to find in my area. Glasgow didn't have it. I went to Bowling Green and Barnes & Noble didn't have it, but Walden Books did.

Legion makes it very clear that he had no interest in UK as long as tubby was coach.

As far as them calling him Billy Clyde, what would you expect from Darrell Bird and his ilk?

Or anybody else. I told a buddy of mine that the better recruit Coach Smith got, the worse off we were. For the exact reason Alex communicates. I'm surprised they put that in there, but it needed to be said.

In the Yearbook section on Arkansas, May May writes, "There weren't many things more intimidating than the crowd serenading Pelphrey's Kentucky teams in old Bud Walton Arena."
Matt's memory is a little different than mine here. Pelphrey graduated from Kentucky in 1992, the first year Arkansas was in the SEC. The Razorbacks came to Rupp Arena that year. Pelphrey never played a game in Bud Walton Arena!
