Now take him to the bridge they cannot seem to paint and hanghim in public for slaughtering his children and his wife.
Torture him first.:X

I figured he was guilty, but I really wonder if Bonnet is innocent? I think Camm befriended him knowing he was a convicted felon, so he could have the finger pointed at Bonnet.

I'll say the same thing I said last time... I hope he did it. Cause if he didn't, I can't imagine a worse scenario than having your family murdered and getting blamed for it. If he did it, torture would be too good for someone who looks at his own crying kids screaming your name and kills them.

I bet the women who made up Camm's defense team are in shock tonight. According to James Zambroski (who I thought did a wonderful job reporting on this case), they pooled their life savings and came to Indiana from somewhere in the Northwest to defend Camm. I'm not sure why a person would do that considering all the signs - ALL THE SIGNS - pointed to Camm being guilty.
I didn't trust those guys from the gym from the beginning. These church folk, they'll stick together no matter what.
I hope they fry the SOB.

And so do the politicians, and doctors, and lawyers, and, and, and. I really enjoy your posts Will but this one kinda stung a bit. Some churches have some lousy folk I am sure, as do all groups of society. To be totally honest, you or I or anybody on here can't really comment about this because the only one's who know what happened are the killer(s) and those poor children and their Mother. It's not fair to call out the church. And yes, in case you are wondering, I am a Christian.

I just know bits and pieces of the Camm story-mostly what I have seen from WLKY news and read in the CJ. I have been curious about what kind of evidence that the prosecution had against him. I saw his unclebeing interviewed on the morning news, and he swore that Camm was with him the night of the murders. So,was it a murder for hire or was Camm supposed to be there? Because, Ihave also heard that he had blood on some clothes.
It just seems like it's been a confusing trial. If he did kill his children, I hope that he fries.:(

My thoughts exactly. There is LOTS of reasonable doubt in my mind. All those guys claiming he never left the gym.
Still, I didn't hear all the evidence and I am glad the decision was not mine to make.
And if he DID do it, I agree with UKBOB's post.

Actually, I shouldn't have just said "church folk." I believe many of those basketball players were in Camm's family. It was blood sticking up for blood.
And really, there are some people who can speak about what happened.
There were twelve of those folks: they're called the jury.
And they spoke loud and clear as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, and we all know juries never make mistakes, right? DWS Remember OJ? What's that guys name here in Louisville that killed his girlfriend, took pictures and got off??

This is the second jury that has found Camm guilty.
I don't know much about this case. But I have heard James Zambroski a couple of times on the Joe Elliot show speaking about it. Zambroski claimed three weeks ago that he would be shocked if Camm got off in this thing considering how much circumstantial evidence there was against him. Zambroski said that one piece of circumstantial evidence didn't mean much; when you have a mountain, like the prosecution did in this case, then it mounts up.
I'm afraid I don't see the parallels in the OJ case and this one. The OJ case was tilted from the beginning. Issues like race, more specifically race in Los Angeles, and police corruption threw everything out of whack (pardon the pun). This case had none of that. It didn't have a lot of physical evidence, yes, but then again we are dealing with a police officer here. Camm would have known how to cover that crime scene up. Which, in my opinion, he did.
Almost.

Will I agree, justice prevailed. Now wether it was blind or not, like I said, only 4 or 5 REALLY know. I'm glad you didn't come back and try to blast me, because that wasn't my intention toward you.

I didn't say there were "parallels" to the OJ case. My point, which you seem to have missed , is juries are not always right.
How many trials and appeals did Ruben Carter go through before he was finally aquitted? Tons of circumstantial evidence there too. He was finally aquitted after many years in prison and many, many appeals.
So, which jury was correct? The one that freed him or the many others that convicted him?
I don't know. And I don't KNOW in the Camm case. That's why I said I hope they got it right.
