Defensive end Jeremy Jarmon and tailback Derrick Locke have been chosen as game captains for Saturday’s contest vs. LSU, Coach Rich Brooks has announced.

Game captains are usually chosen based on performance in the previous game. Jarmon, a sophomore from Collierville, Tenn., had four tackles, including a career-high 2.5 quarterback sacks, last week at South Carolina. He leads the SEC in sacks with 6.5 on the season. Locke, a freshman from Hugo, Okla., was chosen primarily for his work on special teams. He had three tackles in kick coverage vs. the Gamecocks and also had two rushes for 22 yards.
Jarmon and Locke will join permanent captains André Woodson and Wesley Woodyard for the coin toss.
Smith Expected to Play; Little, J. Williams are Questionable: Sophomore tailback Alfonso Smith, out the last two games because of a high ankle sprain sustained in the Arkansas game, is expected to return to game action this week, Coach Rich Brooks announced after practice on Wednesday. Brooks also noted that senior tailback Rafael Little (thigh) and junior linebacker Johnny Williams (foot) are remain questionable for the LSU game.
