It would be cool if it had my name in it, and something to do with Rondo

Awesome! :)Why don't you go to the top of this forum....there's a thread that TRex started called, "Request Your Graphic Artist" and tell us about yourself.

Now....no more ideas about going to another forum. This is your home now. :P

If you can do animations, I have about five private requests waiting on me. I'm sure they wouldn't mind someone else doing them as long as it gets done.

My free time has been really scarce lately. Irecently started playing in a blues band and my 15 yr. old son plays in a rock band. I also manage them and they are keeping me on my toes. I get a few minutes during the day to check the board and that's about it for now.

i tried it said it was closed topic. 25/m/cincinnati. born in UK hospital..grew up in Lexington moved to Cinci w/ wife in 1998.I started doing this back in 1998 b/c me and a friend had a basketball website and were tired of depending on other people for the graphics. So after a year or so, the site died out, like most do...and I decided to open a site for people to come and order graphics for a minimal fee. Well that lasted about 2 years and my computer crashed, i think i got a virus from a music download. But anyway, with 2 boys and a wife, its hard for me to come up with the money to get a new cpu, but after awhile i eventually did, about 8 months ago and I am just now getting back to where I was (lost all my programs, psd's brushes..etc.) I use Photoshop 5.5, Flash 5, and Poser 4. I do not have any formal schooling on these, I taught myself. My advice for newbies is to just sit down for alittle while everyday and mess with the programs, find out what does what. Do not be afraid to make ugly graphics, how else would you get better? I also found out that the only way to get better is to surround yourself with artists that are really good..so dont be discouraged if you think everyone else is better...do you think everyone just "knew" how to do a great banner the first time they opened paintshop pro? I am willing to make things for this site, for our members, and anything else related. I am not however going to be doing anything for your work (as in you need to make a site for work, your company needs a new logo...etc.) for free. I feel as if thats being taken advantage of. So feel free to email me, or just start a thread and ask me what you want to, I'll try to help as much as possible. Looking forward to seeing other people's work as well....

Ourillustrious moderator,TRex can fix that for you.

Good advice for newbies. I echo the sentiments....you have to first be willing to fail if you are ever going to succeed.

Third test in a full-blown thread hijack.

(This would be Hunter Thompson playing Duck Hunt.)

Man, that is awesome... did you play a lot of Nintendo as a kid? i.e. Ten Yard Fight and now Duck Hunter S. Thompson.
