No. 1 LSU at No. 18 Kentucky, 3:30 p.m.
Some risky fourth-down gambles paid off for Les Miles and the Tigers against Florida or we could really have seen the national title picture shaken up. LSU needs to be better prepared for 60 minutes this week because the Lexington crowd will make sure the Wildcats play to their highest level. LSU 23, Kentucky 17.

I agree. And I'll say it again, if the score differential is a touchdown or less going into the fourth quarter, all bets are off and the outcome is a toss-up.
What we can't do is get behind so far that LSU takes our running game out of the picture. It could get very ugly in that case.

We need to come out ready to play, like the Louisville game.

I agree completely. We cannot afford to get down by two touchdowns early... Andre won't have a chance to throw.

Ahh, a man who thinks we need to run a lot.

We don't even have to run a lot, but we do need to be able to run effectively to take a little steam out of the pass rush. Unfortunately so far Joker has saved the running for the 2nd halves of games this year... we can't afford that.

Well if u're running effectively why wouldn't you do what's effective a lot?

I think we will run early and right at them. The o-line needs to get into a good, nasty rhythm that will set the tone from the get-go. Our o-line needs to get into a mean and nasty frame of mind and pass blocking Glen Dorsey doesn't do it.

I love the run the ball mentallity so long as it works...of course the moronic fan sitting behind me thinks otherwise. EVERY SINGLE TIME the ball is handed off he complains saying its a terrible call...even when they are broken for big gains they are always terrible calls and he still complains after the play is over knowing Little broke a 20 something yard run. He always says that you'll never win a game as long as you hand the ball off, you must pass the ball. I have yet to say much to him becaus I'm trying to be a nice guy but come on, if you're going to complain about strategy at least know a little bit about it.
end rant, sorry
If the score stays low, UK can make a run at it throughout the game using a well balanced attack (gotta keep those tigers honest on D) so that the big play is possible. If the score is close, I like the chance of UK to make a stab at it. I like being predicted as a close, competitive game.
THE CROWD NEEDS TO BE LIKE THEY WERE AT THE UL GAME! I will be as loud as possible and I know my small group I am there with will be as well...you'll also hear the guy behind me yelling to quit running and start passing the ball more...at least he's yelling though.

The guy behind you is an idiot. . . At least when it comes to football. At any level of football, whether Pee Wee or the League, it is teams who can run the ball & stop the run that win. Period.

I think we need to get as many points as possible early to have a chance. How many games can you be forced to go on 4th down alot of times and get them all?

Some of us have been spoiled into thinking by previous coaching staffs that any play is a failure that is not a Hail Mary (and also that punting is for rugby, not for football)

I'm thinking that it could happen sooner rather than later...
