He is stupid, proven stupid once again by what happened on the field, and he is biased because he really, really wanted the UK head coaching job when Curry was fired, and he did not get it.

He is stupid, proven stupid once again by what happened on the field, and he is biased because he really, really wanted the UK head coaching job when Curry was fired, and he did not get it.

As I recall, his coaching resume goes back into the 70's when he coached at Murray St. Then, he had stints at Cincy, Kansas and Pitt. I think he had an overall winning record, but I don't think he stayed at any one school longer than 3 or 4 years. He left Pitt after the 89 season and became an analyst with ESPN.

He gets on my very last nerve also. I think he has a bias agains UK because of what was said earlier....he wanted the UK job and either wasn't considered or was eliminated after consideration. Someone else may have more detailed and accurate information on this.

I think everything you posted is correct. UK announced him as one of four finalists after Curry's departure. Hal Mumme was hired over him though.
