Little is still hurt, and now Dixon. how bad is he hurt? We can't have Locke do everything for us. Alfonso looked OK, though.

Not sure what the status is on Dixon but I think Burton will be fine. We need to focus on MSU and get a win before hitting the bye week.

Hopefully after the bye week, our key players are 100% healthy to finish out the last 3 games.

Dixon was held out of the game once he left....so I have to wonder how bad he is.

Burton suffered a strained knee and Dixon a sprained ankle per this morning's H-L.

Coach Brooks said on the radio that X rays on Dixon were negative, which is good news.

Burton also had gotten over the flu. It has hit the team in recent weeks.

I share the concern about our players' being beaten up and injured. In regard to Keenan, I feel for him as he had just gotten his ankle healed, and he then suffered a second injury. :icon_sad: Also, there is indeed some concern at the running back position now, as Rafael would be most unlikely to play this Saturday before the bye week, and Coach Brooks thought Tony's sprained ankle appeared "serious."

I'm just hoping and praying these players heal as quickly as possible. Also, it would MAKE MY DAY for Rocky Lumpkin to return to the field next week and have no problems with his hip. :) GO CATS!!!

If Rafael is out, and if Tony has a high ankle sprain, then it will be up to Alfonso and Derrick Locke to carry us for the Miss. State and possibly Georgia as well. And Alfonso has only just come back from a serious high ankle sprain himself, so he could re-ding at any time. I hope Raf can play after the bye week, or we might be in trouble at RB. Derrick Locke is great, but he's not a Rudi Johnson-type back. Heal up, Cats!

The bye week can't get here soon enough.

Jacob Tamme is also dinged up enough to possibly see limited playing time Saturday. I wonder how Fidler messed up his shoulder? It must be a previous thing also. I think that's the same thing that happened to Tim Couch (labral tear), in addition to rotator cuff problems.
