Third and Long.....

...is still our achilles heal.

I just do not understand why we do not blitz on these situations more often.

Putting pressure on the QB DOES make a difference and on third and long we rarely seem to get that needed pressure.

Give any decent QB time to throw and they will beat you most the time.

That is one thing I would like to see happen more often. Blitz on third and long.

It makes it even tougher when you have a quarterback like Tebow that can run so well. I thought UK did a decent job against LSU on third downs but Florida burned UK several times.

UK fans do need to understand that they were playing against a quarterback that helped Florida win the national championship and may also win the Heisman.

UK understood the quality of Tebow. But third and long has hurt us ALL year against various QB's.
