I dont see how this game will hurt Andre's chances at Heisman at all. It should help him. He had over 400 yards and 5 TDs against the defending National Champs and a very under-rated Florida team. He did everything he could to get the win

i dont see it hurting him i bet it helps him Tim Tebow wont win it so i dont know what the crap they talking bout the winner be the front runner Timmy wont win it till next year or his sr year. Way to fight till the end to the Cats.

A Heisman Trophy winner should be leading his team to victory against all odds. While Andre performed in that manner against LSU, he did not against UF...whether UF is under-rated or not. If you go back to the SC game, we gave them enough points to beat us on Andre's fumble and the lateral.

Andre does an outstanding job most of the time, and everybody is allowed to have a bad day. Heisman trophy winners are not allowed to have as many as everybody else.:icon_sad:

Andre may still be in the mix:shrug1: but he will have to finish out the season in stellar fashion, which he is capable of. He can't have any more bad days though.

While I would love to see Andre win the heisman, I think it will be a great honor for him, and great publicity for our program if he is one of the 4 invitees to New York, and I think his game yesterday didn't hurt his chances of at least doing that. he had over 400 yards passing and no turnovers. Yes he took some sacks but otherwise he took care of the ball.

Our problem yesterday was the inability force turnovers and special teams play left a little to be desired, not Andre. Our offense played well enough yesterday to beat most of the teams on our schedule, but the defense just didn't have enough left in the tank after last weeks game.
