I talked to the two representatives of the Bowl yesterday. They flat out admit they'd LOVE to have UK coming to Orlando for New Year's Day.
They said (and I can't imagine this) that some of the upper echelon teams who might not get a BCS bid consider it a downer going to a bowl like this, and their fans don't travel with them.
They fully expect between 40-50,000 in Orlando for New Year's Day if UK manages to get to this bowl.
