I think we got a fair ranking.

We are the 2nd team on the list with 2 losses, and Florida is the 1st, so I don't have a problem being 14th.

Here's hoping we win out!

If we win out I see us finishing in the top 8 and with some luck could be in line for a BCS game.

With our remaining schedule ( as long as the CATS play like they have the last 2) I believe UK will finish top 10 at season's end.
Hard to believe Arizona St got one 1st place vote. Must be one Pac 10 die hard trying to keep the Pac 10 in the hunt for the NC.

i don't think we could ask to be in a better postion at this point. we win out we will climb in the polls. the top ten is very reachable.

Im thinking Top 5

i like your way of thinking:icon_mrgreen:

the way things have gone this year there very well may be several top ranked teams with two losses. it's a big advantage to finish strong and we're going to do just that.

Correct me if Im wrong but wont we win the SEC east if we win out and Florida and USC lose 1 more? And dont they still have to play each other? Thats what Im thinking is going to happen. We all know that any SEC team can beat any SEC team anytime. I really see us winning out and being 10-2 and in the top 5. And I think we got a very good ranking that is very fair. Weve been in the top 10 twice, and lost both times. We have proven we are a great team and can play with anyone in the nation, especially the last two weeks. So now we just need to win out, win the SEC, and win a BCS bowl game to prove we are a true top 10 team

The problem with that I don't see UF losing another game. Especially having Caldwell back and their remaining schedule. Of course stranger things have happened this season.

We have indeed proven we are a great team and can play with anyone in the nation. Let's win out and get the best bowl we can.

I BELIEVE! :thumbup::widcat:

all our cats can do is play their best and win. we have no control over what happens with the other teams. it'll take a little luck for us to win the east but that was one of our goals, be a factor in the sec race. it has been achieved

How can ANYBODY give a first place vote to Boston College?? Have you seen their schedule? They have beaten NOBODY. Here are their wins
1. Wake Forest by 10
2. N.C. State by 20
3. Georgia Tech by 14
4. Army by 20
5. UMass by 10
6. Bowling Green by 31
7. Notre Dame by 13

Okay show me 1 top 20 team in THAT list. How does that get you a couple of 1st place votes???

They go to Virginia Tech Thurdsay night ......so, looks like they will be keeping company with South Florida.

7 SEC teams in the top 25 with Tennessee just falling out this week.

4 of the top 25 is SEC East teams.

UK has reason to hold their heads high. They are in the toughest division of the toughest conference and can still prove to be the toughest among them if they win out.

Win out or not it's been a terrific season so far. Thanks to the staff and players for delivering high caliber, quality football back to Lexington. It's been too long, but very much worth the wait!

if we win out it will be an incredible feat, because it will mean wins at Georgia and beating the Vols. We should have a top-10, if not top-5 ranking if we pull that off. When was the last time we won in Athens? 1977?
