I think Ang Lee will win for the best director.
I think the best picture is a toss up between Crash and Brokeback Mountain
I think the best actor will go to PhilipSeymour Hoffmanin Capote.
I think the best actress will go to Reese Witherspoon for Walk the Line.
I think the best supporting actor will go to Jake Gyllenhaal in Brokeback Mountain.
I think the best supporting actress will go to Michelle Williams for Brokeback Mountain.
Now those are just my guesses of how things will go. Truthfully my guesses are just that and I don't have any better idea of who will win what than anybody else on this board. We will find out tonight.:question

The Grammys have live bands, giving them more entertainment value than just finding out who wins.
The Oscars should put on live scenes. A cool idea would be for actors to parody the famous scenes from movies up for awards. Another ideas is to have a contest, where you enter at the movie theaters. The winners get to go to the Oscars, all expenses paid, and get to be in a skit. The best performance gets the grand prize, $$$$$$.
Shake that boring awards show up and people will watch it.

Joaquin Phoenix should have won for best actor and I would have liked to see Walk The Line up for best movie (and I felt it should have won that) but I guess Johnny Cash wasn't gay so that didn't happen...
Ahh well at least Reese Witherspoon won.

Walk The Line is certainly an excellent movie, but I don't believe it worthy of Best Picture.
The movies nominated for Best Picture were pretty stiff competition.
