It's only about 2 and a half weeks until fall signing begins. Any news fron Singleton or any other big man we're after?

Singleton is slated to come to either the Pikeville game or the Seattle game, not sure which. He had a visit to FSU after BBM, and supposedly had a good visit. I think we and FSU are the only players for him at this point. If he likes what he sees at the exhibition game, I think he'll come here.

The other person we're looking at is Garret Stutz, although he hasn't been offered yet. He's an up and comer of sorts, and could be a fine addition with Singleton.

Thanks, Matt. I like our chances with Singleton if we can get him back on campus for a game. One more question: Do you know anything about Xavier Gibson? Rivels mentions Kentucky as one of the schools he's looking at.

Gibson is supposed to be looking at FSU as well. He's a 4 man. I don't our level of interest in him or vice versa. Singleton is the man we're after right now, possibly adding Stutz. Stutz would likely be offered if Singleton turns us down.

If he doesn't commit within a day or two of his visit here for the game, I don't like our chances with him. We really need him.

I disagree CountryCat, I think Singleton is ready to get the process over. He already dropped UT (his perceived leader all along) and has taken official visits to the two remaining schools, with another one to UK scheduled. I think he wants to make up his mind within the next 2 weeks, no holding out.

No inside info or anything but really starting to feel like a UK lean right now. Someone who has been a HOB member for a over a year, posted he was leaning to committing to us.

I read about that. Said his uncle was in the know or something? Anyways, I think he'll like what he sees at the game, and commit soon thereafter, or he's FSU bound.
