We've heard some talk about our schedule being weaker than in previous seasons. So, let's take a look and see just how pansy we are:
Of all the top 25 teams in the preason poll, we are tied for #8 for the teams playing the most number of top 25 teams. (We have 6 games) The teams with the highest number of top 25 teams on there schedule all come from the PAC-10, since they have 6 top 25 teams and they all play each other twice. #7 on the list is UL with 7 games, followed by UK at #8.
Of all the top 25 teams, UK is tied for #2 in the most number of non-conference games with top 25 teams. Memphis is #1 with 5, followed by UK, Gonzaga, Arizona all tied for #2.
The pansy award for scheduling 0 out of conference top 25 teams: Marquette, Oregon, Arkansas, Stanford, and Villanova.
The pansy award for scheduling the fewest total top 25 teams: Southern Illinois with 1, followed by Arkansas with 2, Gonzaga with 3
Special cudoz goes to Memphis who has pulled the scheduling coup this year. They have 5 top 25 games, all out of conference, and ALL AT HOME!
