Darrius Washington Jr.? The kid who, as a freshman for Memphis, had the chance to send his team to the NCAA's and missed the freethrow to finish the game? He went early as a freshman and didn't get drafted. I always felt bad for that kid and he is now playing his first game as a Spur (due to injuries) and doing fairly well. I just think it is great to see the kid play again.

I remember we were recruiting him at one time. Was that the year we signed Rondo instead?

I could be wrong, but I don't think that is who we got Rondo instead of... might be wrong though.

That kid had some serious skill that Calipari totally did nothing with. That team he was on where he missed the free throws against UL had talent out the ears if they had a coach they could have done something. John hasn't done squat since he was at UMASS. He is a poor mans Tubby he wins during the season and loses in the tournament.
