Wells has several reasons to believe his Pikeville team can keep its composure. In his second year at the NAIA school, he's imported several players with junior college or Division I experience. In all, he welcomed -- and "welcomed" is the right word -- the arrival of 11 newcomers.

After reading about some of the guys who have transferred to Pikeville, I think they may very well be better than most of us thought.

Much better, according to one of only 3 local kids left on the team, says he will never sniff any playing time, says it will be a 10 pt game.
