Patterson is a beast. I wish we had some help for him down low to keep the double and triple teams away.

Ain't that the truth. I'm too excited about everything to get too down about Randolph leaving, but boy -- Morris and Patterson up front would have been nasty.

Oh, so true, matt. Wouldn't you love to see this team with Randolph still on the roster! I had mentioned that to my husband even before watching Patrick this evening. After seeing him in action tonight, I wish that all the more.

Too, I also wish Patrick had gotten that one additional rebound for his double-double, along with one more assist for Ramel, actually. In regard to the former, I suspect we will be seeing a lot of those this season, though. Here's hoping I'm right! :)

Patterson looked very impressive tonight. What I like about him the most is that he can handle the ball and run the floor. He fits in with our style of play so well right now. The great thing is that you get all of those qualities without sacrificing any itensity or strength down low.
