DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke's "Cameron Crazies" are known as some of the most committed -- never mind nuttiest -- fans in college basketball.

But while they'll set up a tent village to assure a spot in the stands for some home games, others have been so sparsely attended by undergraduates that the university has set up a new reservation system to encourage them to come.

"The attendance last year was pathetic in terms of fan support, and that's something we're trying to rectify this year," said Roberto Bazzani, a Duke senior who serves as head line monitor.

Many UK fans have been questioning the students attending the games. It looks to be a problem at other traditional programs

I don't think there is any problem with UK students attending our baskeball games, is there? There was always a shortage of tickets when I was around a couple years ago. :shrug1:

Only at Duke could you put on your resume that you were a "head line monitor". :shrug1:  :icon_rolleyes:

Because Duke students are stuck up snobby losers that are bandwagon junkies that are only at the games if Duke is winning NCs !

Personally I wouldn't want to be in the same building as that ferret looking mofo either.

If anyone couldn't tell I hate Duke, everything about it.

EVERYTHING..............

Not blaming students but there have been a ton of no shows the last three years. I sit in the nose bleeds and have witnessed at most games except for the big games.

Is that the same as saying you were in the safety patrol?

I promise you they're not. At least not the ones I've worked with. Many of them are pretty cool people.

You have to admit... Cameron has been a whole lot more intimidating lately than Rupp. I used to flat out hate everything about Duke. But I have grown to respect some things about the program. 1) Their student section, 2) Ferret face is a great coach, 3) OK so there are just two things...
