OK guys and gals...lets regroup here. We have all thrown a fit long enough. I swear looking back at the hostil enviroment here the last two days is actually funny...Why do we take it so personally...I mean most of us dont have family playing, most of us dont even live in lexington. For some unknown reason we all see UKs wins or loses as a personal reflection or extension of ourselves. I cant tell you how many times i have said to myself that i will not watch UK anymore as it just upsets me too much...but why should it? Well lets see...perhaps living in Evansville, IN for three years during the 80s when IU had some great teams and putting up with arogant hoosiers helped some. Having to deal with being called a cheater during the Sutton era, although i never actually cheated. Each time IU and UK played it was me against them. Now being back near home living in west Tn. I have to deal with arrogant tenn. football fans and recently even basketball fans. I think the one case we can all relate to is the so called friend at work that isnt a UK fan. I have one at work that is a pukie and a big mouth that I must deal with each time UK loses. So i guess in many ways they are an extension of ourselves, when they lose we feel it, probably more than we should, I know I do. Then we come here angry but who are we angry at? It seems each other but in reality are we really mad at the guy with a different opinion? I dont think so...i think most of us just have our feelings hurt and some of this losing has gone on for so long its becoming even more frustrating than ever. So all im asking, is lets please be prepared for another loss, its coming thats for sure but not only be prepared for the loss but be prepared to come here and not rip each others head off, myself included. We all want the same things, we all love our cats, lets give coach g time, its very difficult to watch the cats lose but i feel in time we will see less and less of this. We are on a comeback...the rest of the country can breathe easy for a bit, when we finally do get on track with the recruits we have coming....look out. We have the right guy, number 8 is on the way :thumbup:
