Will Tennessee get the same bad press if the fire Fulmer this year? I find it interesting that his numbers are very similar to Tubby--last winning NC in 1998. Or are we an easier or more popular target?

Fullmer can't be held responsible for any problems the basketball team may eventually have.........................

??
I was referring to the bad press UK fans got for wanting Tubby out after "he did so much" at Kentucky. Very similar to Fulmer in UT Football.

Initial glance I thought it was football related................
I doubt Tennessee gets the same scrutiny. However, football success (regardless that Vol fans are UK fans' rabid equals in many ways) seems to be measured differently than basketball success - especially by those on the outside looking in.
IIRC, Alabama caught some criticism in the press for what happened with Bill Curry.
