Tennessee (http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/teams/page/TN) sophomore guard J.P. Prince had arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder Thursday.

Prince, who transferred to Tennessee in December from Arizona, landed awkwardly on the floor while chasing a ball during practice on Oct. 31. Trainer Chad Newman said he expected Prince to be out for four to six weeks.

Because Prince transferred midseason last year, he won't be eligible to play until the No. 7 Vols play Western Kentucky in Nashville on Dec. 15.

Before the game on Tuesday I saw the SEC Preview on ESPNU, he was listed as one of the newcomers showing him to be 6-7 G/F.

Anyone seen him play before, does the kid have any Tayshaun like skills?
