I think Joe and Patrick could block as good as our line has today.

Glad we´re tied after a bad half. It can only get better.

I agree Brian, as poorly as we have played we are still tied. I HOPE Joker makes some adjustments. The zone blitz is KILLING us. He needs to start throwing some scrrens and quick hitters across the middle to take the starch out of it a bit. Also our blocking schemes are awful , if not adjusted we will lose. On defense we need to find somebody in the secondary that wants to cover somebody.

The week off should benefit UK in the second half. I expect to see UK having the fresher legs in the second half.

That had to be the worst officiated game I have seen all year. The hold in the 1st half when Burton caught the long pass was not a hold. The Fumble that was not called, and the hold by the vandy O-Lineman on the 3rd and 16 on the last drive are the most obvious. This is definetly the D- crew of officials with all the other big games in the conference today. Good to get the win though. We usually struggle after a bye week and in the past when coming off of bye week to play Vandy has historically been bad for us.

1 down and 2 to go. Lets go CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a charter member of "The Fellowshio of the Miserable", I will take it.

I asked my dad on the way home, "How in the world did we win that game?" Vandy played a pretty decent game, and UK played it's second or third worst game of the year.

At least UK is a good enough team that they can play poorly and still beat a solid team like Vanderbilt.

That had to be the worst officiated game i ever been too. The Refs killed us we would of won the game by 14 or 21 pts if they hadnt threw so many flags.

There's a lot of merit to that view IMO.

God Bless Wesley Woodward, but he made a bone-head play when he went to knockdown the 3 & 21 pass and was called for interference. While it was a close call, had he just let the guy catch it & tackled him it would have been 4 & 15+. Just keep the play in front of you in that situation.

That's the way to look at the glass half full. I have to agree with Coach Brooks this was a good win despite the ugly of it all. We beat a bowl hungry Vandy team away. That's a pretty talented Vandy team that should get a bowl bid and probably has 2-3 kids that will play on Sundays.
