Lones really does have a great leg, I've watched him hit 50 yarders routinely during warmups, his problems have usually been consistency and confidence. It's great to see him playing well.

Exactly, JOHN. All three phases of the game were way below par and played a big part in the Cats' loss to MSU. Yesterday, though, all three units played significant roles in the Cats' narrow victory. Too, KUDOS to Tim Masthay, as well, as he perfectly placed a key punt on Vandy's one.

It was indeed a GREAT win for the Cats. Actually, any win on the road is usually praiseworthy. This one was a KEY one, though, as it has guaranteed the Cats a bowl appearance. :)
