UK is 20th and 22nd in this weeks polls. Not too much of a move. I think if came out an dominated Vandy, we would have moved futher up.

Sweep out against Georgia and Tennessee and we'll move as much as you want to...

We had our fun with the polls early on. I doubt if we crack the top 10 again this season.

Here is some foolishness in this week's poll.

Virginia beats a hapless Miami team and jumps from #23 to #16 - a climb of 7 spots.

Kentucky beats Vanderbilt and goes from #24 to #22 - a move of 2 spaces.

Kentucky beat the new #1 team in the nation (LSU); Virginia's quality wins are against . . . ? They beat Duke, North Carolina (by 2 points), Georgia Tech (by 5), Pitt, Middle Tennessee (by 2 points), Connecticut (by 1 point), Maryland (by 1 point), and Wake Forest (by 2 point). They lost to Wyoming and NC State. How can you look at that and think that Virginia is a good team, much less #16 in the nation?

Cincinnati plays in the weak Big East and lost to Louisville, but is ranked #21. Kentucky beat Louisville and is #22. And Cincinnati's good wins are . . . ? They lost to Louisville and Pitt. Their wins are against Southeast Missouri State, Oregon State, Miami of Ohio, Marshall, San Diego State, Rutgers, South Florida and UConn. How does beating those teams qualify a team as top 25 material?

Like I was told on here once it is all about when you lose even more so than who you lose to.

Kentucky is #23 in the current BCS rankings:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/BCSStandings?week=5

Kentucky ranked behind Cincinnati, Michigan, Illinois, Boise State, Boston College, Hawaii and Virginia? Virginia at #14 despite most of their wins being by 1 point, beating no one of note, and losing to some klunkers?

Kentucky is:

#20 in the USA Today poll

#22 in the AP poll

#22 in the fan poll

If you would like to vote in the fan poll, here you go:

im sorry but that just ticks me off that michigan is still above us in the bcs...no way that possible. that just proves that the biggest deciding factor of the b.c.s. is still the other polls which is someones opinion. they have 0 quality wins and one terrible loss. if they beat ohio state , who is also over rated they will rocket back into the top ten..which is completely absurd. the C in bcs should be removed! i would love to see KY in the big ten this year!
