Kyle Macy, Ryan Lemond in Nashville and Larry Vaught in Danville.
The question was brought up as to where the front line is?
It was stated that 2 big men are really having problems adjusting to BCG. During the talk it was mentioned that there may be some Christmas transfers.
Carter & Williams
The seniors, it was mentioned that last year they did what they wanted to and knew that OTS had no other choice but to let them play. It was mentioned that someone or both may be sitting on the bench.
From the way Kyle talked like he has been to practices.

Would there be anywhere to listen to this?
 at the information, if Kyle's right. Which I'd say so. Very big information. Not only the potential transfers but also what the seniors have said.

I'm glad to hear this statement, Bradley erratic out of control, hot dogging, all about me, play really hurts the team.

Both players need to know that they are going to listen and play the way BCG wants them to, or he will find somebody else that does. I hope they are smart enough to know that this is their last chance and make the most of it, but I wouldn't count it.

No, everyone knows that was Tubby's fault.

No, everyone knows that was Tubby's fault.
Tubby snuck up on Jared while he was asleep and maimed his shoulder with a kitchen knife so badly that it would never be right again. Then he proceeded to alter the chemical content of the other players' brains so they would have no recollection of how to play basic defense. These were just small cogs in Tubby's master plan to completely undo the UK dynasty. :shrug1:;)

No, but he can't wait around for to decide to toughen up. While I would never want someone who is by all accounts a good kid like Carter to transfer, I just don't see where his playing time is going to come from. He's slow and way too tentative for someone who's been in D-1 basketball for three years (shoulder injury or not).
As for the seniors, I'm all for Billy G laying down the law and benching them if he has to. I see the senior class as a microcosm of the last few years under Kentucky Basketball - wasted potential.

If crawford and Bradley sit its not because they arent working hard enough, it simply because they are not very good. bradley has no position on the floor at this level and crawford is much the same. I believe both guys are out of their league at this level and cannot lead this team, not due to lack of effort but they simply have not improved much the 4 yrs they have been here. that can be blamed on OTS
We will struggle and look much like last year as long as Bradley and Crawford play and porter is lost as well. He is to slow for this level and will never be able to get off a shot. BCG will get athletic players in here that belong at this level, we will just have to be patient..

Seriously people, how far do you think we are going to get with the "here's all the players that need to leave" attitude? How about an "everyone just needs to work harder and improve" attitude? These are kids you know, not fantasy football players that you can throw away if one has an off game.

He fills people with blood instead of sucking it out of them?......:icon_mrgreen:

This is my first post in so long that I had to re-register. Although I very rarely missed a game and I lurked on these boards, I honestly lost some of my interest and excitement over the last few years. I have to say that BCG and this new era has really brought back the excitement for me and I'm into UK hoops as much now as I ever was.
Having said that, I'd really hate to see us lose anybody, but buy-in is extremely important at this point and in just about any major transition, there will be some attrition. I sincerely hope that we don't lose anybody, but its time to right this ship and it may happen in the process. Truthfully, I worry more about the experienced guys like Ramel, Meeks, and Crawford than anybody else because they are so talented. I love them all, and I cannot fault their hustle, but they are going to have to get on board with some team ball. Driving into a crowd, failing to pass, not playing defense, and jacking up ill-advised shots needs to be a thing of the past. We saw a classic example of a bunch of less talented players who knew how to play as a team take a handful of world class athletes and absolutely spank them.
BCG was the right hire and ultimately we will be the team that knows how to play ball together and we will be the team overachieving. We all need a little patience in this - BCG will get UK there one way or another - it just remains to be seen who is going to be on board with him when it happens. Personally, I hope it happens with the guys we already have.

Maybe it means he can walk in the day light?
The line made my day. I don't think I've ever heard "Tubby" and "Vampire" in the same sentence before. LOL!

Agree, it would be beneficial to the program if all the players stayed and bought into BCG's style, and played hard 110% of the time. Transfers will have a bad stigma, and could hurt the team (and recruiting, if the recruitees are watching, which I'm sure they are).
Of course, attitudes have a lot to do with this too, but I trust BCG to straighten these out.

I like the basic faith that coach Billy Gillispie will turn the program around. I also have that faith in him. I think he loves the game of basketball and it is good that he is our coach.

Nothing was mentioned about injury insteasd it was ATTITUDE.
