UT Game Time

Heard a rumor this morning that the UT game will be picked up by ESPN for their feature night telecast... I've checked ukathletics and espn.com and haven't found any confirmation. Anyone else heard anything?

We get fax updates from the Athletic Office, but haven't heard anything yet as of Noon Eastern.

I have heard CBS. Since it will be the last game of the year, and it's rivalry weekend for most SEC football Schools (UGA vs GT, UF vs FL State, LSU is done in conference) we will be one of the more high profile games on Saturday. CBS has first right to any head-to-head matchup.

Anyone know any more high profile football game that Saturday? UT could be playing for the SEC East Title.

I think the Auburn-Alabama game will get the afternoon CBS slot. That is just sort of the tradition for them. I would be surprised if its NOT Aub-Ala. Which leaves us the ESPN night game or Lincoln Financial game.

Will be watching this closely since I have tix for the Bball game that day. Time for it listed as TBA. Gonna make it a Big Blue Day and night whatever the time of either game!

Not sure what say the school or SEC has in this matter, but I doubt that they'll want the basketball and football games opposite each other.

RV has stated in another thread that the game will be at 1:30. UKathletics.com has it 1:30 also now.
