I heard this earlier today. My Alabama-Auburn coworkers aren't taking this annoucement too well. Driving home from Auburn, AL after a 7:00 PM kick-off is a lot different than after a 2:30 PM kick-off.

SEC is kinda monopolizing all those TV slots. Maybe I'll just stay home & watch them all.

this is the first time EVER that the Auburn-Alabama game was BUMPED to a later starting time in order to accomodate the UK-Tennessee game for broadcasting purposes.

Who'd a thunk it? :icon_mrgreen:;)

Our game vs Florida last month also knocked the Alabama - Tennessee off it's traditional spot on CBS that day as well. We're probably not very well liked in Alabama right now and it will get worse once we get a better bowl than them.

All this should make Oct 4 interesting.

What really bothers me is all the TV coverage we missed because we did not play UL first.

WOW John. That's a lot of money for an ole country boy to come up with. I didn't think it would be difficult at all to get rid of any extra tickets for that game. I won't stop trying till the Fat Me sings though.

We did miss out on broad homes coverage of that game because of it. Don't kid yourself otherwise.

I bet there weren't 50 people on the face of this earth that really wanted to see the game and didn't because of TV coverage.
