He had a massive stroke yesterday, the circumstances of which I'm confused, too.

I know he was a sort of portly fellow, but on MSNBC it was mentioned that some theorize that the bad pitch which struck Puckett in the eye and blinded him 11 years ago may have contributed to the stroke. I don't know how, or why, or any details, as I missed the rest of the broadcast. Anyone shed any light on that theory?
