Do you follow or cheer for any college fb teams other than UK? If so, who?

I like Michigan because they are the major rivals for OSU, and I've been to one of their hockey games. It was AWESOME. They were playing OSU and beat the holy crap out of them. SIEVE!

I hate just about everybody else - especially all the other SEC teams - and even more UTK. I think of OSU as an extension of UTK.

My least hated SECE team is probably UGA, because we beat them last year and their fans are cool. I enjoy trading stories with them about UTK or UF like "The Fumble" and Bobby Gaston (and the ghost of) refereeing. If we don't beat them again, they will quickly lose that status.

I would think that for only a KENTUCKY fan that a perfect fall Saturday would be made so simply by a Kentucky win.

For me, simply a Kentucky win makes a perfect fall Saturday. I don't need those others to lose in order for it to be perfect.

You must have died a lot this year. I'm just kidding. Seriously, do you think Weis will get the job done eventually? I think it's becoming harder to recruit to Notre Dame because the entrance standards are so high.

I pull for Auburn because my neice is an alum and she and her husband are huge fans. Unless they are playing the Cats they are my second favorite team. I pull for other SEC teams from time to time depending on who they are playing and whether or not a win or loss by them will help UK. Very seldom do I pull for UTK or Fla. And of course, anyone who is playing uavel.

I keep up with college football and watch as many games as I can. Like to see teams from all over the country play.

As an alumnus of both UK and UGA, I root for both. Except when they play each other, that is. When that happens I bleed blue only. Go Cats, beat those Dawgs!

I watch all the games I can on the weekends, NFL included. If it's on, I have my 4 way PiP fired up on my 60" Plasma. UK gets the main share of the screen with sound while the 3 other games are along the side. Same thing on Sunday, except it's just 2 games on the PiP. I do the same thing I do for basketball, I pick 10 games or so to watch Saturday along with the team I'd like to see win. Usually I do a pick 10 with my friends and whoever picks the most winners get a free dinner from the person who got the least number of games right. So far this year I have won 9 out of 11 weeks, 89-21 on my picks for the year.:icon_mrgreen:

I'm with ya Brian, although I've always said if I had to pick a team to be a fan of, I could easily be a Georgia Bulldog. I love the atmosphere in Athens and UGA is just a cool mascot.

Weis is getting tougher to defend with every passing week. It would be one thing to see a young group maturing and just needing to learn how to win games, but I haven't seen any improvement and basically their one win was against a team without a serviceable QB in UCLA.

I just hope that Weis can get all of the 2008 recruits to remain on board and hopefully go from there, but next year better be as much as a surprise as 2005 (his first) or it could be time to find someone else.

The entrance standards are a fact of life. While I agree that Notre Dame might never be as deep as some powerhouses, there is no excuse for 1-9. Ever.

The UK game is the most important to me, by a landslide. Nothing else comes close.

However, after that, I like both IU and Purdue, and if the University of Hell were playing notre dame, I would be out there cheering on the big guy in the red tights, too.

I will root for other SEC teams (except UT, Florida, & whatever team Spurrier happens to be coaching at the time).

I started a thread about this once. . . How my rooting interests much more reflect my hatred toward certain teams than they do my love.
