I was shocked when I read that.

I then unplugged the lamp and moved it - wasn't shocked anymore.

I'm not surprised at the indictment.

I'm not gonna read too much into the length of time as to whether or not they have a case.

Suffice it to say, if an investigation goes on for four years followed by an indictment, chances are they've got a solid case - especially when dealing with a high profile figure such as Bonds.

It'll be interesting to see how this goes down.

Now, it can finally be proven. Bonds definately did test positive. They have positive tests, urine samples, and proof that he used syringes. So all the Bond supporters that used the argument "he never tested positive" can't use that argument.

Cheater.

Ive waited for this day for 4 years. Now I can only wait for the day they say hes guilty. Then the day they strip his records from this time period. I cannot stand Barry Bonds and I hope they prove him guilty and take his records and do NOT vote him into the hall of fame

haha I am not even that big of a baseball fan; just a HUGE sports fan. I love to see great athletes in competition. I love seeing new records set, amazing moments that Ill never forget, and even the bloopers. I can sit down and watch any type of game any day. I love the competition. But when someone cheats at that competition, it makes me lose all respect for them. Barry Bonds cheated and we all know it. That proves to me that he wasnt in it for the love of the game; he was in it for the records. He got caught cheating at one of the best forms of entertainment that there is, (not baseball, sports in general) and ruined his reputation. He has no respect from me anymore and I feel he deserves to have his records taken away

Nothing to see here. I'm pretty sure everyone saw this coming, it was just a matter of time. Now, a conviction, that'll be news.

* Get used to that symbol Barry. Because your record will forever have that beside it.

Better yet, it should be displayed forever as this:

DITTO and I hope he goes to jail for the maximum sentence. He is a criminal and it will be proven in court soon enough!

One thing's for sure, if the same tenacity is exercised in chasing down steroid / growth hormone use in, say football, AND at all levels, look for the parity that has been seen in recent years to drop or disappear.

Likely SEVERAL schools would drop from Division 1 football, and there'd be a decrease in the flood of seemingly gifted highschool footballers feeding the need of all the "new" (recent years) Div. 1 teams that have cropped up.

Certainly better conditioning regiment, facilities, nutrition, etc. plays a part in that boom. However, steroid / growth hormone use is significant at the college and highschool level as well.

This quite likely would be a scab, that when all is said and done, many would have rather not picked, lol.

So, a bottle of testosterone stands about as good a chance in a football locker room as a bottle of peroxide does at a sorority at UK huh? :icon_mrgreen:

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, huh?
BTW, in my UK sorority house, the brunettes easily outnumbered us blonds. ;)
