Let me first say that I'm skeptical about LW, I think there are a few big time hurdles before UK admits him and Billy G has to think long term and not just this year. If he comes then it's because Coach thinks it's in the best interest of the program...N e way, here is a little vid on LW...

That video shows he can move well with his frame and has some nice footing skills. I've seen 4 or 5 videos on him, and I think hes a steal if we can get him.

he looks like a more athletic chuck hayes , he uses his body well around the basket and knows how to use the goal to protect the ball.

Did he get into a fight w/ someone at one of the camps? Attitude issues aside, the kid has clearly got talent and UK could use his athleticism. The question is do you take on the baggage. I'm hesitant to offer (not that I'm making any decisions)....

Yes. Don't know the circumstances though. Hopefully it's more of a Gimel/Mags type of "you won't score me" attitude though, or can at least be channeled into that.

Someone told me he got into a fight w/ Cortney Fortson? I don't know if it's true or not. I'm skeptical about bringing him in.

"Kentucky's very strong right now," said Dinos Trigonis, who coached Washington on a summer team based in Long Beach, Calif., earlier this year. "I wouldn't be surprised if Kentucky was the choice."
"He's got attitude problems," Meyer said. "He's got academic problems. He's got weight issues."
Trigonis saw UK Coach Billy Gillispie as the kind of person who can steer Washington in the right direction.

Not that it cant happen but..i have seen very few young men with attitude problems get straightened out by anyone. Maybe coach g can do it but with that many issues...why bother? Are we that desperate to win basketball games?

If we are booing our players and our 3 games in NEW Coach I would say
"YES!"
