Tates Creek's season-opening Mr. Basketball Classic on Nov. 30-Dec. 1 isn't being overhyped. The event will feature the four top-rated players in the state -- Darius Miller,Scotty Hopson, Shelvin Mack of Bryan Station and Victor Moses of Henry Clay, along with top 10 player Clark Stepp of June Buchanan and top 25 players Michael Sparks of Tates Creek and Tyshawn Edmondson of University Heights. Nationally rated prospects Wesley Witherspoon of Berkmar, Ga., and Brian Wright of Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) also will play in the two-day event.
