Another Rose Hill youngster likes Cats

Rose Hill Christian already has one basketball underclassman committed to the University of Kentucky -- sophomore Dakotah Euton. And the 6-foot-8 Euton has a teammate who would like to join him in Lexington.

Chad Jackson, a 6-4 sophomore who's considered a top-100 national prospect in his class by some scouting services, said last night that playing with his friend Euton was his goal.

"I want to play college ball with Dakotah," Jackson said after scoring 23 points in a scrimmage win over host Sheldon Clark at the Fast Lane Tip Off Classic. "… But who knows? In the future UK might not be for me, and then again it might be.

i know alot of people dont see it this way but..if your in the top 100 players in the country..your still a damn good player. also we all know rankings are subjective. the right attitude in the right system can go along way. be interesting to see what comes of this.

I've heard good things about Chad Jackson. He's certainly worth keeping a close eye on for the next couple of years. Who knows, he could end up a Cat.

He is just a SO so it is not like we are ignoring him. We will most definitely keep an eye on him and I would not be suprised if he ends up at UK.

You don't go around offering scholarships to every sophomore in high school. That UK is interested and watching should be good enough for Jackson right now.
