I just got off the phone with Holiday Inn booking for the cities that we may possibly be in (Atl.,Nash-vegas, Memphis) and the ONLY way I got a room with them is because I had like a gazillion rewards points from traveling with work which makes me a platinum member which guarantees me a room. They ALL told me that whole blocks of rooms have been reserved in advance. So, if you plant travel and stay...reserve em now while you can. I also must confess I bought bowl tickets to the three I mentioned above and just hope that I can get my money back on the 2 we don't go to.

Fortunately, I'm an AAA member and I was able to get a room at a pretty nice hotel that is 18 minutes from the Georgia Dome. Now, if the Chic-fil-A bowl people will just do their part and invite the Cats. :icon_smile:

I checked this morning and there are still plenty of rooms available for New Years Eve in Catlanta, but less than 1,000 tickets remain for the Chick-Fil-A bowl game.
