While I guess this is possible, I just don't see UK getting pushed back to the 8th choice of bowl schools in the SEC. But that's just my opinion.

Hope not, though. I spent the longest three weeks of my life one weekend in Shreveport.

I will go to Nashville or Atlanta, but I most likely will stay home and watch the game on TV if it's in Shreveport or Memphis.

i like the talk in the Peach Bowl againest UK Vs BC That would be one heck of a primetime matchup at the Peach Bowl Ryan vs Woodson

doesn't the Independence pick after the Liberty?? if so, that prediction ain't happening, the Liberty can't pick 6-6 Bama over 7-5 UK, as I understand the selection rules. . . . I think the Liberty is as far we would drop. . ..

That's what I'm holding out hope for.

But I've got tickets reserved for all venues and will follow them to Antarctica if that's where they wind up.

I heard it explained that in the SEC bowls a bowl can pick a team with with a worse record as long as there is only a one loss difference and as long as the team with the better record still has a bowl to go to.

Now, in that the Chick-Fillet, Music City and Liberty pick ahead of the Indy bowl for us to go t Shreveport we'd have to get passed over buy the Chick-Fillet, Music City and Liberty. Hope that does not happen, although I'd much rather play Colorado than Central Florida.

I hope it is the Music City. THe Peach Bowl starts too late interrupting New Years Eve. Nashville is a great city to go and party in. If the Cats go to Liberty I will be home rather than go to the crapiest city in America.

I didn't see that one. The Peach is now the Chic-fil-A bowl.

The word from inside is that we play Wake forest in the Music City Bowl. Take it for what it is worth.

Hey. Memphis is fun. Have good friends there. Beal street is fun. The Bowl stadium may suck, but Beal Street IS fun.

The main reason I'd not wan t the LB is having to play a CUSA team. In future years the Liberty should upgrade the competition.

But, If nothing else the Rondesvous and Interstate BBQ joints are worth the trip.

those predictions make no sense, at least as far as the Liberty and the music city. Why would the sec send miss. st. fans to nashville, when it's almost as close to shreveport, and make the UK crew drive all the way to the gulf of mexico ?? they've already seen that we can pack whatever that stadium in nashville is called and the thought of a matchup with traditional power fsu would seem to have most Cat fans drooling.

While this is possible in theory, there is no way on this earth that we fall to this bowl.

Bowl chances IMHO
Independence - Shreveport = 0%
Chick-fil-A - Atlanta = 25%
Liberty - Memphis = 15%
Music City - Nashville = 65%

I don't think the "one loss difference" applies all the way down to a 6 win team, at that point all the 7 win teams would have to be picked first. . . .that's my understanding, I could be wrong. . . .

The most important thing about my statement about the bowl rules is that I too could be wrong. :)
