Kentucky fans who swarmed the field after the Wildcats upset then-No. 1 LSU have had trespassing charges against them dismissed.

University spokesman Jay Blanton said school officials expressed their desire not to go forward with the cases, and Fayette County prosecutors dropped the charges this week.

Several people were charged after jumping down and onto the Commonwealth Stadium field to celebrate after the Oct. 13 triple-overtime game. It was the first time since 1964 that the Wildcats had beaten a top-ranked team.

A better than average public relations move.

I can't believe someone actually wanted to file charges in the first place.

Oh, well...

What if someone just stands up and yells about how Florida is a bunch of cheaters recalling a phantom interception and about how a particular call was terrible, and how Bobby Gaston was dead and it should stop? No cursing, nothing coming close to cursing - not even saying that Football Gods have sent him to hell even though he thought about it - but that would have been too much?

One lady thought so, and got police. They said to her afterwards, "He didn't curse, and he's right."
