The University of Kentucky is still uncertain of its destination for the 2007 bowl season.
The SEC bowl picture won't start rounding into shape until after Saturday's league championship game between LSU and Tennessee. The league office will communicate with school and bowl representatives late Saturday night and early Sunday to finalize the bids, and UK will get official confirmation of where they'll be headed sometime Sunday afternoon. The school will hold a 6:30 p.m. news conference on Sunday to discuss the bowl bid.
The Cats are still a candidate for the Chick-fil-A-Bowl, which pits an SEC team against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent. They also could wind up in Nashville at the Music City for a second consecutive season. The Liberty and Independence Bowls are also in the mix.
UK's fate could be largely determined by the winner of the LSU-Tennessee game.
