Games I might possibly watch if I'm in the mood for more football:

Las Vegas - BYU vs. UCLA

Emerald - Maryland vs. Oregon State

Orange - Kansas vs. Virginia Tech

Games that I think are pretty interesting and probably worth watching:

Holiday - Arizona State vs. Texas

Armed Forces - Cal vs. Air Force

Liberty - Central Florida vs. Mississippi State

Alamo - Penn State vs. Texas A&M

Independence - Colorado vs. Alabama

Sun - South Florida vs. Oregon

Music City - Florida State vs. Kentucky

Insight - Indiana vs. Oklahoma State

Chick-fil-A - Auburn vs. Clemson

Outback - Wisconsin vs. Tennessee

Cotton - Arkansas vs. Missouri

Gator - Virginia vs. Texas Tech

Capital One - Florida vs. Michigan

Rose - Southern Cal vs. Illinois

Sugar - Hawaii vs. Georgia

Fiesta - Oklahoma vs. West Virginia

BCS Championship - LSU vs. Ohio State

Games I will ignore because they simply do not interest me at all:

Poinsettia - Utah vs. Navy

New Orleans - Florida Atlantic vs. Memphis

Papajohns.com - Cincinnati vs. Southern Miss

New Mexico - New Mexico vs. Nevada

Hawaii - Boise State vs. East Carolina

Motor City - Central Michigan vs. Purdue

Champs Sports - Boston College vs. Michigan State

Texas - TCU vs. Houston

Meineke Car Care - Wake Forest vs. Connecticut

Humanitarian - Georgia Tech vs. Fresno State

International - Rutgers vs. Ball State

GMAC - Tulsa vs. Bowling Green

That last group: most of them don't even seem worth playing to me, with the exception of the Motor City. How can you take the "Meineke Car Care Bowl" seriously? Or Florida Atlantic vs. Memphis?

Predictions (prior to any betting lines coming out):

Kansas is mauled by Virginia Tech in the Orange, proving that the Jayhawks did not belong there

South Florida vs. Oregon will be a good game in the Sun Bowl

Poor Indiana finally gets a bowl bid and no one will see it because it's on the NFL Network

Chick-fil-A, Auburn vs. Clemson - tough matchup, should be a good game; I hope Auburn doesn't embarrass the conference as they sometimes do

Cotton: Arkansas vs. Missouri - a big chance for an SEC slip up, as Arkansas is without a coach and faces, with the possible exception of Florida, easily the very best team not in a BCS bowl; Arkansas is one 3 OT win from the Liberty Bowl . . . let's hope McFadden and Felix Jones have games for the ages or this could get ugly. This one, too, could well prove that Kansas did not belong anywhere close to the Orange Bowl.

Gator: Virginia vs. Texas Tech - terribly overrated Virginia will get drubbed by Texas Tech

Capital One: Florida vs. Michigan - Florida should stomp the Wolverines

Rose: Southern Cal vs. Illinois - this one could also be embarassing for the Big Ten

Sugar: Hawaii vs. Georgia - let's hope Georgia makes a statement about teams playing cupcake schedules not belonging in the BCS

I'm eager to see the line on Ohio State vs. LSU. I have a feeling it may silence a lot of people who are complaining about LSU being there. Those who do complain about it should be told to wager against the Tigers or shut up.

I'll be interested in the bowls that have an SEC team in it. It will be interesting to see how Hawaii does. I think they will do well and UGA better not overlook them. Remember Boise State last year in the Orange Bowl.
I don't understand the Illinois pick for the Rose Bowl. This could easily be a wipe out. In fact I think most of the BCS games could be. Va Tech could win easily as they are much better defensively then Kansas. Also I think Oklahoma will win easily over WVU. I just can't see WVU recovering from an embarrasing loss to Pitt. Florida will pound Michigan. The only way Michigan could keep it close is that this is their coach's last game and their emotions could keep them close enough to pull it out,but I doubt it. The Holiday,Alamo,Peach,Cotton and Outback are all good matchups and should be terrific games.
UK has a good matchup. They are playing a name team in FSU. Although FSU isn't what they were 10 years ago they still would be a big win and a one to keep the program moving forward.
I think LSU will beat Ohio State but it will be closer than most expect. OSU remembers last year against UF and won't let a blowout happen again but LSU will win it in say about three overtimes.

It depends on who starts for LSU, it will be a close game with Flynn because he makes too many mistakes.

No question I will be watching our Wildcats, but I will probably watch Florida vs Michigan, Hawaii vs Georgia, and Oklahoma vs WV. I can't believe that LS..Whooo got in the championship game though. I was shocked.

I will watch EVERY bowl I possibly can.

Me too, I'm a college football junkie.

There are too many to list but other than the real big bowls I can't wait to see Georgia play Hawaii. I hope GA gives them a big aloha and sends them home after a mauling.

Regarding the need for the lesser bowl games. The fans and players of these schools love the games and there are a lot of football junkies who love to watch. Take the GMAC bowl down in Mobile. My nephew is a Miami O grad, he and my brother went to the GMAC a few years ago and watched the Redhawks beat the Cards and had the times of their lives.

Ironically, one of the bowls that will not be all it could have been is the Chick-Filet Bowl -- f/k/a/ Peach Bowl. I know Auburn will fill the place up just as Kentucky would have done, and furthermore I am glad that we are not playing Clemson again. But Woodson and Co would have lit up that scoreboard playing indoors on a fast track. And can you imagine if we had played some one like BC! The TV folks would have loved it. Auburn, on the other hand, would have a hard time scoring on Prom Night. I look for that one to be kind of a boring game, but I'll still be watching.

Meineke Car Care - Wake Forest vs. Connecticut

I'll watch as many bowl games as I possibly can, but I find this one intriguing. UConn was a 1-AA team just four years ago. Now they were just one game away from being in a BCS bowl. What a dramatic change in that school's program! I hope they beat the snot out of Fake Forest.

Other than the Cats and the championship game, the matchups I think will be most interesting are:

Mizz/Ark in the Cotton - love watching McFadden and Jones
Fla/Mich in the Cap 1 - think Mich will hang tough for awhile
Okla/WVU in the Fiesta - should be wide open w/ plenty of big plays

Games I'll skip:

Miss St./CFU in the Liberty - glad the Cats aren't in Memphis but would be disappointed as a Bulldog that we're not matched vs a BCS conference
USC/Ill in the Rose - a blowout and too bad they stuck with a lousy Big11 team for the conference affiliation
Wisc/UT in the Outback - Vols are unlikeable and Badgers unwatchable - boring and cannot root for either
