I appreciate your optimism. We certainly haven't had alot to cheer about. I hope you are a prophet.

:icon_mrgreen:Patterson gets another double double...and Stevenson just misses one
:shock:Bradley and Crawford both have 20+ points
:icon_surprised:Porter will have a good game getting near 10 assists
:thumbdn:I'll be a work and miss the game:icon_evil:
I know I will be a least partially right with this prediction, because I can't afford to miss work.

P-squared will go for a double double, Crawford with 23 points, and AJ Stewart with 10.
Bradley will have 8 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds while Perry will have about 10 with around 5 or so rebounds.
Willing to put money on it!

We definitely need the win. Come NCAA selection time this could be looked at as a "quality win".
Our non-conference games are either very weak or very strong opponents. We won't get any credit for winning against all the weak opponents or losing to all the strong opponents, so we need to pull off a couple wins against strong teams. Indiana may be our best shot.

If you're going to put money on it, you'd better be more specific about Perry's rebounds. "5 or so" leaves a bit of a gray area. :icon_biggrin:

My bad! I'll take his 6 rebounds and Porters 4 steals!
GO CATS:widcat:!!!!
Not to be a party pooper here but have you seen these two teams play this year? I am as big a fan as the next guy but I am also a realist.
At Bloomington? As thin as our bench is? With no real PG?
I will be happy if we keep it close like the NC game. I still think we are expecting too much from this bunch.

Finally, someone speaking realistically. This one won't even be close. Not in Bloomington, not wth the players/talent they have, and not with our depleted bench.

UK 76 - IU 68....
The game is a lot closer but UK gets the margin at the end from fouls and free throws.

Yeah, I've seen indiana play and barley get by a couple mid majors if Tenn. State is good enough to qualify as a mid major.

I missed the UNC game, but I was encouraged by the final score. Then I watched it on my TiVo and realized they were down 20 most of the second half and put together a little garbage time run to make the final score appear respectable.
I think IU is a little worse than UNC, but since the game is in Bloomington, I'll expect a similar result, minus the irrelevant garbage-time run.

Um, uh, not sure if you heard, but we lost to Gardner Webb by 16 points!!!!!
Also, here's IU's schedule so far. Not really sure where they barely got by mid majors...

Don't get me wrong. I hope they win and if they play a perfect game and IU doesn't play that well I think we can win. BUT - the "body of work" we have put together so far this year is preventing me from unrealistc expectations.
I guess I am looking at this team like this: If we can pull off some of these upsets great. I am not, however, going to expect this team to win games like this.
