Does anyone feel that a return by Alex Legion could be a bad thing? I personally don't think so, but you never know. I think if he could get his head straight, he could be a tremendous help this season. Just curious as to what others are thinking on this topic.

Only if the fans undermine the discipline by stroking his ego by chanting his name during a game, when both Legion and BCG know why he is sitting. But no, wins are what keeps a team on line.

I'd say that if he comes back, which it sounds like he will, it will be under some conditions. Obviously Coach will be deciding those, and making sure they're met. If his mother was criticizing Coach during the game like it has been mentioned, then that ought to cease as well. No need for that.

I'd also assume there will be some sort of punishment, such as sitting out a game or something.

If my memory serves me correctly, Crawford sat out 2-3 games. Coach hasn't had to deal with this before, so he makes his precedent with Legion. That part will be interesting to view.

I think it will be for the better. Reports suggested teammates we upset that he left, and as long as they welcome him back, no other problems will arise imo.

I don't believe his return would be a badthing at all. The one thind I have a problem with his playing time versus Coury. I'm not bashing Coury, but it was obvious he was out of his league Saturday. Legion comes from star status and then has to follow a walkon off the bench has to make you feel a little unwanted.

Good point. Didn't Tubby hold a team meeting and let the players decide if Crawford could return? Could be a nice gesture if Coach did something along those lines.

I don't think there would be any problems if he came back. I personally hope he stays. I anxiously await the time when we have Meeks and Jasper that we can rotate with the guys we already have.

When Joe Crawford left, a lot of people INSISTED that he not be allowed back on the team, we didn't need him, he was a cancer to the unity of the squad, etc. Then all of that changed when he really came through in some tight games, and it's worked out fine since then.

I don't see it being a problem if Legion wants to come back. As has already been brought up, I imagine there'll be some stipulations involved.

Also, it's not like he went all Cool Hand Luke on us. From the reports, it almost seemed more like his mother's influence that made the decision. He didn't cause problems, defy Coach, or anything like that. I think means a lot too. Coach definitely seems to like Alex.

Matt Jones just reported that there is still no information, but Alex is on campus and attending class. That last part is good news to me.

I have no clue. I'd say it varies daily.

I think I might know where you're going, and I'd say it would be hard to see if Alex practices or not today :icon_mrgreen:

Wondering if there was a possible team meeting or when BCG would be available to meet with Mr Legion again.

Oh, I don't know. I doubt anybody will until after it happens though.
