In defense of Patterson, I think (hope) he may have been wiping some blood or something from his nose. I hope it brings a laugh, things have been way too serious on here lately!

I really dont think he ate a booger, I think he had blood on his fingers and in order to stay in the game and take the chance of it getting on his uniform he licked his fingers.

At least I hope thats what happened.....

I noticed patterson had a nasty scratch on his face in the game..seemed to be bleeding...im sure he wouldnt eat a booger. i mean..i hope he wouldnt.

Patterson was bleeding from either his nose or a cut on his lip. Shortly after this clip I noticed he had some blood on his face apparently coming from his nose. I remarked to my friends that the refs did not make him leave the game. That also looked more like a wipe than a pick.

Regardles of what happened, I love the way he really "digs in" on the low blocks. If you watch him closely, it is impossible to miss the "hunger" in his game.
