This may sound a bit hard to believe, and frankly, I'm still kind of in shock myself.
Like many of you, I spend a lot of time on the sports network websites, and as I'm sure many of you have, from time to time I enter their contests for tickets, TV's, etc., whatever prize looks good to me. I must have entered hundreds of 'em and never won or thought I would get close to winning..until now.
Remington had a promotion on ESPN recently where you could enter for a chance to win a trip to meet athletes and other sports personalities. Well, I entered and last night I got a call from a representative from Remington saying I had "made the cut". I'm now one of five national semi-finalists and the voting is open from now until Friday at midnight central time.
The website is http://www.cleanxchange.com Click on the link and when you get to the start page, click on the link to "contest" and you'll see me (I'm the LaGrange, Kentucky entry). It's pretty easy to see how to vote from then on.
I would really appreciate if my fellow WCN'ers could help me out on this one. If I get lucky and win, I promise I'll take a lot of pictures so everyone can see how things went. Plus, I'm sure I'll have lots of stories to tell.
(Of course, the U of L fans can vote for someone else, if you like. :icon_mrgreen: Just kidding...)
Oh, at the very least, I've already won one of Remington's new shavers, which ain't cheap.
