Went and watched Rose Hill tonight vs Morgan County. Euton played good. Most of his points were put backs. Chad Jackson took over at the end. I like the looks of that kid.

Euton 25 pts 9 rebounds. Jackosn 27 pts 10 rebounds

I have seen Euton a few times this year and he has some skills that are unique--he can shoot the ball from three well and at 6'7" that is unique--and he may not be done growing. (Remember, both kids are sophomores.)

I have one over-riding question about Euton---is his foot speed enough to make it at a high D-1 level. At this moment, I do not think so--but again he is only a Sophomore. His level of intensity also needs to increase.

As far as Jackson, he is nowhere near ready for high D-1 at this moment but with two years left--and a good body to build on--he is definately a kid with possibilities.

I'm going to try and watch Rose Hill if I can. Hopefully I can catch a game where they play Elliott county, where my roommate is from. Elliott has a potential up and comer in Timmy Knipp. I haven't seen him play, but my roommate is quite impressed with his progression. Knipp is about 6'-5" and a freshman.

I'd definitely like to see Dakota in action though. As someone mentioned, remember that he is only a sophomore. Hopefully our coaching staff has given him special instructions with regard to training and diet. Those things can really help him develop and help keep him healthy as well.

It is my understanding that we are watching Chad Jackson and are very interested in him but have not offered yet. He is also reported to be very interested in Kentucky.

I have not seen Euton play, but have heard him compared to Dan Issel.

Rose Hill played against Oldham County and won in overtime. Euton had 21 and Jackson had 22.

Neither shot a very good % from the field. Euton missed his first 4 free throws & 1 at the end of ot. Jackson is quick and is a good athlete. Euton is not a very good athlete, lacks qucikness & jumping ability. Don't want to knock the kid, but he needs to improve a lot to compete with SEC type athletes

I haven't seen them play, but my best friend is a local head coach and he told me about them. He said Euton reminded him of Scott Padgett a little when he was in high school and said he would need a lot of physical work to succeed at UK. He also said that Jackson is pretty good, and he would take him ahead of Euton.

I would take them both and be quite happy to do so. I think Euton will wind being one of the better kids in his class, by the end of his high school career. I think Jackson could also from what I have seen of him.
