Anyone had the chance to see it yet? Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin both did great jobs, but Javier Bardem stole the show. Never heard of this guy before, but he should win some awards for this role. IMDb voting has this as the #15 movie of all time, not sure I agree with that, but it is a must see.

Matt Jones article on the movie......... http://blog.kentuckysportsradio.com/?p=4418

We saw it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was great. The ending was a little strange, but didn't detract from the movie at all. Bardem was great. If there was an Oscar for Best Villain, he would be a landslide winner.

Yeah - the wife and I took it in down at the Newport Levee the week it came out. We are both HUGE Cohen Brothers fans. It was very good, but, like others of theirs - I need to see it again (and maybe again). I agreed with one viewer's assessment that it was "too much Barton Fink and not enough Fargo".

As for the ending - did it really have one??

But yeah - Javier Bardem - creepiest bad guy since Hannibal Lector. If he doesn't win an Oscar, they oughta disband the award.
