I've heard and read that Coach Gillispie will not run a zone. Anyone know why that is? When Patterson was in foul trouble, if he had went to a zone, he may have saved a foul or two. And when Porter was assisting Vaden with the catch and shoot a zone may have slowed him down a bit. I'm all for man in your face defense, but when you're getting shot out of the gym and your only inside player is in foul trouble, there has to be at least a thought of the zone. :shrug1:
