I think that now, more so than ever before, the "one game at a time" approach is one that not only the players need to use, but the fans.
Look, I know that this is not where any Kentucky basketball fan wants to be right now, but the unfortunate truth is, we are in a tough position. As the fans of a great program, we need to completely be behind our coach and our team now more than ever, because we still have a long way to go in this season.
The good news is that we have a few games where we can really start a turnaround. Houston is a guard-first team and since that's where we have the most talent at, I think this bodes well for us. If we can pick up a win on the road against a 9-1 squad, that will only give these guys confidence that they are in dire need of.
I'm not suggesting that this team will never lose a game again this season (far from it). But I believe that this four game stretch could be very good for the psyche of this team, starting with Houston tomorrow night. We have to win that one first, and then move on to the next one.
Go big blue!
