View Full Version : Left or Right Brain?
This is very weird to say the least. When I first looked at the Dancer, she was turning one way, then I was able to see her turn to opposite direction. Depending on how I viewed the dancer, I could make her go in either direction. Very Weird. :shrug1:

Give it a try and see which way she turns. :icon_confused:

I had the same experience. When I first started, she was going clockwise, but after reading the lists on the left, she was going counter-clockwise.
Maybe that's a test of which part of the brain you're using right then?

I have a hard time believing that anyone sees the dancer spinning counter-clockwise.
Seriously, do you really see it spinning counter-clockwise?

Ok, so if you want to switch it up - you need to look in the general direction at the dancer, but not directly at her. Then slowly move your eyes toward her. After a few seconds though your brain will switch it back to normal.

Mine was going clockwise when I first looked. If you focus on the spinning leg and tell yourself it's going around the back and not the front(which it appears), the direction will change.

When the heel hits the floor, I can switch to clockwise... The strongest vision is counter-clockwise. When I look at the whole thing and not a leg or an arm or the pony tail, I see strong counter clockwise. But, I can switch it back and forth.

Seriously. Yes. Counter-clockwise is effortless for me to visualize. I have to work at it fairly hard to visualize clockwise rotation.

It was initially counter-clockwise for me but I was able to go back and forth several times.

I can make it go both ways with little effort. Does that mean I am a witch? :icon_mrgreen:

Yes, undoubtedly. Same here...;)

It only goes counter clockwise for me. But, when I look only at her butt for a few minutes she does slow down a bit. I sort of appreciate that too. :icon_mrgreen:

She rotated clock-wise for several spins, then counter clockwise, then clockwise, then counter, etc.
Alternating spinning directions was what my brain wanted to do, no matter how hard i tried, I couldn't turn her into a him, or put clothes on either of them.

Me, too. No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot change from a clockwise motion. While I accept others' testimony that they can see another motion direction, it apparently is not possible for me to experience it. I'm extremely left-handed. Maybe that's why.

Pretty cool, no way she's moving counter-clockwise.

tauzreborn, jaspcat,
Are you left-handed? If so, have you ever taken a test to see how "left-handed" you are? I did and the result was that I'm 85% oriented to my right brain with an expectation that the percentage would be significantly higher if I had not been brought up in a right-handed world. :)

On the contrary. No way she's moving clockwise.....:icon_lol:

I'm completely left handed as well...............to the point that when I attempt to dribble a basketball with my right hand it feels as if I'm using my fist.........:icon_biggrin:

I think they kept switching which way she turns. To her right, then left, then right again.
I really don't care though. I just kept looking till I slapped myself (in the face).
TL needs to take this test after a night on the CO weed & Makers to give us the definitive answer though. Terry, where are you?

Okay. After some intense conditioning, I am able to make her turn CW or CCW at will. Very clever.

Outrageous!
I FINALLY got her to turn clockwise; now I CANNOT get her to go back to CCW!

I HATE myself!! she was going cw then ccw for a split second and now cw again. TURN THE OTHER WAY!!

Now I just woke from a nap a few minutes ago and I have a splitting headache but today it will go clockwise for me. But, I have no idea what I am doing to cause it to do that? I looked at it every way I could think of yesterday for nearly 10 minutes and counter clockwise was all I could get. Not even a hint of clockwise?
I thought this info was interesting.

She went clockwise several turns then once or twice counter then spun perpetually clockwise. I thought it may have something to do with the two parts I was focusing on. Like maybe she was trying to get away from me or something. She could run but she couldn't hide.

I think that some really clever reporter made a bar bet with co-workers that he could get a suggestive pic of a women with......well anyway I think he bet he could do it and fooled his editor with the right/left brain study.

I am extremely right handed and I use mathmatics on an everyday basis.
