This is amazing to me. It's a drawing done in chalk on an ordinary city sidewalk.

Do you know of any efforts to preserve it oruacat?
Thats pretty amazing. Not sure I would have gone with Batman
&Robin though.

I got an email with a lot of his work. Its amazing stuff. Have you seen it at a side angle? The way its drawn you have to viewit from the spot of the camera to get the 3-d effect. From the side it is much longer and almost distorted. I have no idea how he is able to work that out while he draws it.

I think part of the spirit of Sidewalk Art is it's ephemeral nature. It enhances my enjoyment of it. To me, part of my wonder and appreciation is involved only in the moment when I view it (or respectfully step around it) and the fact that the rain and footsteps will soon enough(too soon) come and wash it away.
