Ok, so we don't have seven magnificent players on this team. But, there are seven players that will be getting the majority of the minutes very soon. Our seven best players that are most able to play Billy Ball consistently.

I have read so many posts the last couple of days that lean to the negative side that it almost makes me want to stay away from the message boards. I know it is tough to lose as we have been but I also see what Coach G is trying to do. He is still building his Team, people. It has taken longer to settle on the 7 players that will be "the" major part of the team because of injuries constantly hampering the process. Hang in there folks, this team is not nearly as bad as the record shows and I am sure that will become evident to you in a short while.

As each of you, I am not sure, based on what we have seen so far, that Jasper and Meeks will ever be fully able to play as a reliable part of the team this season. But, if they can and also play at near 100%, our seven top players could be a very solid group. If they can't, it is going to take longer to get this team playing well as I know without a doubt that Coach G will get them doing so. Yes, well enough to even give the Big Dog's a heck of a fight. If healthy, good things may happen? As said before, Hang in there, folks.

Go Cats !!!

I know, it is bad taste to respond to your own post when nobody else has, but does what I said above make sense to anyone now?

Checking the box score on ESPN it is easy to see that our best 6 got the bulk of the PT with two players, Harris and Porter, coming in at 7. It is HUGE difference when our best players are healthy enough to play. It is evident that Meeks and Jasper still have nagging issues but there is no doubt about the difference they make for this team. Hang on folks, this ride isn't over. :)

I agree, freethrow. This season will be better than most expect, now that we have our best players on the floor.
